While steaks at top-tier restaurants are assuredly fantastic, they are out of the preferred price range of many budget travelers to Vegas.

Lost in the fawning over expensive dinners are normal folks, like me, looking for a steak thatll do the trick without breaking the bank.

We all know Ellis Island has the best steak bargain, but who has the best steak and lobster bargain?

I had an $11 steak and lobster somewhere downtown last time I was in Vegas, but the steak was dry and hard, and the lobster was the size of a crawdad.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This question’s a little old, but instead of reinventing the wheel as it were, I thought I’d bump it up. I’ll be visiting Las Vegas in the near future to meet my future mother in law. Whenever my partner goes to visit, they have a tradition of going out to eat steak and lobster. They usually go to a national chain, which is fine, but I’d rather eat my surf and turf “Las Vegas style.” A place with a good wine list is a plus, too. Suggestions anyone? Thanks a bunch!

Sounds like Binions steak and lobster for $11.99 downtown. I had a $2.99 steak and lobster once at the El Cortez. Was 7.99 and I had a $5 off coupon. Wasnt tioo good, but I can say Ive had steak and lobster for $2.99!
