Dining At Ellis Island
There are four dining options at Ellis Island. All are very reasonably priced. Guests will find quick bites at Metro Pizza and Boardhouse, which is a sandwich shop. The two sit down options are the Microbrew Café and the BBQ restaurant.
The Microbrew Café is open 24 hours a day. Its secret menu contains a $9.99 steak dinner. Other menu items include 24 hour breakfast, sandwiches and dinner entrees.
The BBQ restaurant has just four items on its menu. Diners may choose between a half rack of ribs, full rack of ribs, half rack and half chicken, or a half chicken. All options come with coleslaw, baked beans and toast. No substitutions are allowed. Microbrew selections are also available in the barbecue restaurant.

Ellis Island Steak And Eggs Special Details
Everyone loves feeling like an insider right? Well, you can consider yourself one as this deal isnt even on the menu. Served daily until 11 am , the Steak and Eggs special costs $6.99 and is among our favorite inexpensive steaks in Las Vegas.
We recently stopped in to order it and snapped the photo, below.
Its important to note that this deal isnt for food snobs. The target market isnt exactly the Hells Kitchen crowd, rather, those that are looking for solid quality at a low price point.
The deal comes with a 7oz steak, breakfast potatoes, 2 eggs any style, and toast. At the price point, my expectations were low.
Although I expected the steak to be tough and flavorless, I found it to be chewable and pretty damn good. Again, this isnt the best steak youll eat in Vegas, but its almost certainly the best value.

The Nitty Gritty: Its hard to pass up a chance to visit the Las Vegas version of one of our favorite Chicago area steakhouses. What Im looking for, is something maybe a little better than EIs steak, which in my opinion is just pretty good. and Im wondering what I should expect to pay?
The reason Im asking this is kinda nutty.. but Im trying to figure out if I should order a steak dinner at the Voodoo Lounge Cafe when we go there, or should I just order an appetizer or desert there, and save money by eating someplace else yes were on a tight budget right now!!!! hehe
The steak dinner at Voodoo is $30, and a side order is gonna be $5 extra
So I guess my question is can I get a GOOD steak dinner for around $20 maybe??

There is an unadvertised porthouse steak special at the Redwood Room at the California that is quite nice. This is an old fashion classy resturant with dark booths, table clothes and good service. I think it was $19.95 for a complete meal.

Vegas can be done on a budget. Some people know that, and come here and still manage to have a great time. Imagine that.
I dont understand why people buy the 325i when BMW makes much nicer models other than the ghetto version of a luxory car. Just my opinion though

Ellis Island steak and eggs deal at the Village Pub and Cafe is the cheapest steak and eggs on the Las Vegas strip.
The Village Pub and Cafe is open 24 hours a day. But you wont find the steak and eggs deal on the regular menu.
Its on the secret menu which isnt posted anywhere. You have to ask. Its one of those, if you know, you know type of deals. Now you know.
You can get steak and eggs at Ellis Island for $6.99 every day of the week. On the weekends, its available from 11 pm to 11 am and from 11 pm to 2 pm on weekends.
The special includes a 7 ounce steak, two eggs cooked to order, breakfast potatoes, and 2 slices of toast.
For less than $7 you get a decent amount of food. I appreciated the generous portion but my potatoes were cold. Breakfast potatoes should never be cold.
Pro-tip: The best time to come to avoid the line is early morning on a weekday.
