How To Make Garlic Butter Steak Bites

How to Cook Garlic Butter Steak| Easy Steak Recipe

Garlic butter steak bites couldnt be any easier. The secret though, is to use a really hot skillet, because you dont want to overcook the steak. The steak bites really only require about 4 to 5 minutes, if the skillet is hot enough.

My other secret is to not stir the steak bites for the first 1 or 2 minutes, let it get a nice sear from the skillet. I also like to cook the garlic butter separately because I dont want to add it with the steak, so that the garlic doesnt burn. Then all thats left to do is pour the garlic butter over the steak and serve.

Easy Side Dishes That Go Great With Steaks

Steak isnt an everyday dinner, so when you take the time to cook it, it truly feels like an occasion. Of course, its often made to celebrate things like birthdays and anniversaries, but it also has a way of making a random Wednesday night feel festive. Its hard to beat it straight from the grill when its warm outside, but even if we arent luckily enough to have a grill or its simply too cold, were never disappointed with steak cooked in the oven.

While the beef might be the main attraction at the dinner table, you cant live on steak alone. With that in mind, we have plenty of ideas for delicious sides that will complement that perfectly browned and charred T-bone, rib-eye, or Porterhouse. Whether its a simple sheet pan full of crispy roasted potatoes, charred veggies like broccoli or Brussels sprouts from the grill, or even just a cool and refreshing arugula salad with a tangy lemon vinaigrette, these 40 recipes wont disappoint.

How To Cook Steak Sous Vide

There’s another way to get juicy steaks on the stovetop. It’s a technique called sous vide . It starts with the same searing technique as above. but instead of going from skillet into a very hot oven, the steak gets sealed in a plastic bag and goes into a hot water bath to finish cooking. Are Round Steaks Tough Or Tender

Since Round Steaks come from the hindquarters, where the muscles, tendons, ligaments, and cartilage get plenty of exercise, this meat option can be quite tough and chewy. It is also a very lean piece of beef, which causes it to be a little lacking in the flavor department.

However, it is possible to make some delicious meals with Round Steaks as long as you take measures to give them a little extra flavor and tenderness . Like Beef Shank, Round Steak cuts are most tender when cooked with moisture, so methods such as slow cooking or braising are usually preferable .

How To Cook Skirt Steak

Now, the fun part. Cooking steak can be quite intimidating , but because skirt steak is so thin, it cooks up pretty quickly and as I mentioned before, it’s forgiving. You have a relatively large window to achieve a medium-rare to medium cook. The easiest way to cook skirt steak is to hit it with powerful heat, so preheat a grill, grill pan, or cast iron pan over high heat. There’s no need to oil the pan because your marinade has already oiled the steaks for you .

Remove the steak from the marinade, letting any excess marinade drip off. Generously salt and pepper your steak on both sides, then lay the skirt steak down on your hot pan. Let the steak cook, undisturbed, until you’ve achieved a golden-brown sear. Flip the steak and repeat on the other side. For a medium-rare cook, the steak should feel slightly soft at the thickest part of the steak when poked. All in all, you’re looking at cooking the steak 2-4 minutes per side.
