I recommend their Prime Beef BBQ Meatloaf, Spencer Steak, Steak Frites, and Scottish Salmon. After dinner, be sure to check out Spencers scratch-made desserts, including sorbet and key lime pie.
They host happy hour daily from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and serve delicious salads and fries. Dont forget to check out their award-winning wine and cocktail lists.

I wish I could say Ive been to ALL of the restaurants in Omaha and can say, with authority, which are the best. But I just dont have that kind of time. So, heres the list of steakhouses that Ive heard are good but I havent been toyet:
- Omaha Prime If this fancy Old Market restaurant is good enough for a dinner date between Warren Buffett and Alex Rodriguez, its good enough for me.
- 801 Chophouse Paxton Heres a downtown Omaha steakhouse thats been around longer than I realize, and I still havent been to it.
- Jericos Restaurant Theres an Omaha foodie Facebook group and whenever anyone talks about steak, this place gets mentioned.
- J. Gilberts Wood-Fired Steaks & Seafood This is one of the newer kids on the block and Im itching to visit.
- Mahogany Prime Steakhouse I heard this West Omaha restaurant is all about the entire dining experience.
- Spencers For Steaks and Chops This is ones been on the edge of the Old Market for a few years and Ive yet to visit.

One of the citys newest steakhouses is The Committee Chophouse inside the Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel. The dimly-lit dining room has a retro vibe that recalls what the significant history of the hotel the original hotel was The Blackstone Hotel.
I was invited to have dinner there and can attest that the steaks are perfectly prepared and the waitstaff is second-to-none. Its a splurge date night spot, for sure.
