Bodega Taqueria Y Tequila

Taste Of The Town: Spice Up Your Summer With Miami Spice Participating Restaurant Bourbon Steak

Sometimes nothing hits the spot like tasty tacos al pastor, thick burritos stuffed with refried beans and drizzled with red chili crema, cheesy quesadillas loaded with all your favorite fixings, and crispy, crunchy nachos piled high with meat and flavorful toppings. The good news is you can order all your favorite Mexican dishes from famed Miami Beach restaurant Bodega Taqueria y Tequila for delivery direct to your door, no third-party app needed.

You cant go wrong with any of their tacos . That said, we recommend you start your order with the housemade guacamole and chips, or the famous chili queso, made with a blend of melted Oaxaca, cheddar, and Monterey Jack cheeses. If youre craving something a little lighter and more refreshing, Bodegas ceviche de pescado is a great option. And if youre in the mood for something heartier that hits the spot, go for the surf and turf burrito, stuffed with grilled ribeye steak, grilled shrimp, Mexican rice, tomato, charred onion, fresh cilantro, and salsa rosada. Not a meat eater? No problem. The vegan pollo asado burrito is absolutely mindblowing, filled with refried beans, guacamole, pickled red onion, cilantro, Mexican rice, and crispy potato sticks. And for the ultimate accompaniment to your Netflix night in, theres Bodegas loaded carne asada nachos, heaped with grilled ribeye steak, chili queso, cotija cheese, chili crema, tomato, cilantro, and sliced jalapeno.

How Will Your Recipe Look And Taste

Once your dish is ready, you will be able to check out the beautiful char on the steaks that gives it a majestic look. Upon slicing the steak, you will find it to be rosy pink from the inside as it is medium-rare. Make sure you put the steaks on a rack after cooking so it is not over-cooked by its own juices.

Eat With Your Eyes Closed

On rare occasions, I enjoy very adult, very American dining experiences. Its a nice break from eating at restaurants that try to create bizarre, unfamiliar experiences places where ordering the silliest sounding dish satisfies my desperate attempts in feeling some semblance of emotion.

I wanted to eat rib eye. I wanted a big, fat, buttery lobster. But I still wanted to feel things. This is why Bourbon Steak was my first choice in the Miami Spice circuit this year. Bourbon Steaks menu touts a restrained list of excellently cooked basics with a creative flair. You can have a rib eye thats going to harp on some really familiar chords but add a little twist on it. Itll simultaneously warm your heart and surprise you. Kinda like watching Homeward Bound.

The Spice menu at Bourbon Steak is really straightforward: 3 choices of appetizers, 3 choices of entrees, and 3 choices of dessert. As a general rule of thumb, you should always invite a small group of friends out for Miami Spice dinners so you can strategically order everything on the menu.

Hand-Rolled Angel Hair Pasta with parma butter, black pepper, pecorino toscano

Tapioca Crusted Yellowtail Snapper with coconut forbidden rice, sugar snaps, xo sauce

The tapioca crusted yellowtail snapper was up next. The lightly crusted fish paired with coconut rice was the last thing Id consider to be comfort food, but there it was. Crunchy and sweet, it was voted the favorite out of all the entrees on the table.

Great Value Fit Menu: Bourbon Steak Review

I was invited to a preview tasting of the Miami Spice menu at Bourbon Steak Miami earlier this week. Miami Spice runs from August 1 through September and offers a $39 three course set menu. At places like Bourbon Steak it also represents a great value.

Two dozen media folks gathered in the private dining room, along with our wonderful hosts from the Turnberry

Isle Resort for a tasting of all the offerings. Have you ever wanted to go to a restaurant and order everything on the menu? We didnt have to. We were simply brought plate after glorious plate.

Appetizer choices include sweet corn and Maine lobster chowder The hand rolled angel hair, is served cacio e pepe, with butter, Pecorino cheese and black pepper. It is one of my favorite pasta dishes because it is so simple and still so flavorful. The version at Bourbon Steak was no

exception. The final appetizer option is a tempura squash blossom with Meyer lemon ricotta, basil and ratatouille. Next time I go I will get this, since it was served alongside the pasta, I was too busy stuffing noodles in my mouth to fully appreciate the squash blossom in all its fried goodness.

Just when I thought it impossible to eat more, we started with the

creamy, cheesy and over the top. I could eat that every day and never get sick of it.

As if there was room for another morsel of food in me, we were presented with dessert. Pineapple upside down cake is not something I would choose, and yet. Candied ginger, pound cake

Miami Spice Monday: Bourbon Steak + Corsair Kitchen & Bar

As Miami Spice continues in October , Team MMTM is sharing one final #MiamiSpiceMonday post with you, and boy is it a doozy a two-for-one look at gastronomic powerhouses and Turnberry Isles two beloved restaurants, Bourbon Steak and Corsair Kitchen & Bar.

Menu highlights: With both restaurants nestled within a 300-acre tropical oasis, you can rest assured your visit to Turnberry Isle will be worth your while. The two restaurants are serving up specialty menus featuring a few of their signature dishes and offer Miami Spice dinner seven days a week for $39. Corsair also offers lunch Monday through Friday for $23.

The Chilled Avocado and Cucumber Soup was the perfect start to my meal. This creamy soup from the Corsair menu was served over fresh lump crab meat, lime, and scallion. Light and crisp, and perfect for South Floridas year-round warm weather.

Immediately following was the Kurabuta Pork Belly . This dish, which is offered as an appetizer option in the Bourbon Steak menu, was bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked crispy on the outside. Unpredictably paired with a roasted peach mostarda, watercress, and a quinoa tuile, for an added layer of crunch.

The Angus New York Strip was five ounces of sheer pleasure. Accompanied by a cauliflower puree, that dare I say, probably deserves its own spot on the Bourbon Steak menu, as well as a foie gras emulsion and Romanesco .
