As a table we ate steak, fish and lamb chops, everyone commented that it might be the best they had ever had. I had the Delmonico steak and I know it was one of the best steaks I have ever had. They even baked a cake for a birthday. The cake was amazing! Could very well be found at Ellis Island Casino on Koval, a couple blocks east of the southern section of The Strip. I had what appeared to be an 8-10 ounce choice grade sirloin, perfectly cooked medium rare with choice of potato , plus green beans and a large iceberg lettuce salad with tomatoes and carrot sticks. Service was very friendly and efficient and you can get this 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Total cost of this very good steak dinner? $4.95. If you know of a better deal, please share it…

The only thing on this list that is not $20 but is still one of the best deals in Vegas at $29 so we had to include it. The three course, fixed lunch at Estiatorio Milos at Cosmopolitan Hotel will make you want to come back for dinner. Sorry, at dinner the regular menu is available and it is a little more than $29.
If you find yourself at Cosmopolitan Hotel your options for affordable are pretty good with Holsteins, or a couple of tacos and a beer at China Poblano might fit you under the $20 cheap food ceiling.
Every one of these restaurants has hidden gems on the menu, just remember that alcoholic drinks are the killer of the cheap meal. Have free water and your bill stays low. Go downstairs and put a few bucks into a slot machine right as the waitress walks by and you can get a free drink instead.
