Reviews For Farm House Restaurant

Wonderful food and . great to find all types of country vegetables while on vacation in Myrtle Beach. Fried chicken and country ham were perfect! The player piano sounded like my mother in law playing whjch added another memorable moment. Service prompt and pleasant. Will definitely return when in the area! Environment inside makes it seem you are definitely not in the heart of commercial Myrtle Beach! Thank You!

This is a nice little place but it was nothing to great. The service was good and all the staff was very friendly. The food was just ok. I’ve had much better down home country cooking. The lemonade was water down and the sweet tea could be sweeter.

First time I’ve ever been to a restaurant that the menu hasn’t changed since it started. Now don’t let that fool you, they are good at it. Service was excellent and courteous, and very polite. If you want to go somewhere that it feels like you are sitting at home enjoying a meal with family and friends, then, you need to check this place out. You will not be disappointed!

Myrtle Beach Seafood: Try The Original Benjamin

BY Terry MasseyMyrtle Beach Local Expert

The Myrtle Beach area is literally swimming in seafood, with local waters producing some of the best hauls of fish, shrimp, crab and oysters. The 60-mile stretch of coastline that makes up the Grand Strand includes two of the best fishing ports on the East Coast. From Murrells Inlet to Calabash, N.C. , the Myrtle Beach area is surrounded by lots of fresh catches – and lots of places to enjoy them. The ready availability means plenty of options for seafood-lovers, a difficult list to trim down to 10.Whether you’re looking for an all-you-can-eat buffet or a hole-in-the-wall oyster bar, you’re sure to find a perfect fit for your taste buds. For a romantic dinner with a view to match, try the historic Sea Captain’s House, which is celebrating its 60th summer on the Strand. Mega-seafood buffets like Captain George’s Seafood Restaurant are abundant in Myrtle Beach. There’s also the coziness of a small oyster shack, like you will find at Rockerfeller’s and Bimini’s Oyster Bar.Of course, some prefer to go straight to the source, and Calabash and Murrells Inlet have a broad range of seafood restaurants that take their fresh catches straight from the boat to your table. The Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk provides a dozen dining options in a short stretch down the waterfont and Calabash has a small district of seafood establishments that make it impossible to go wrong.

The Giant Crab Seafood Restaurant

It has a cartoonish sounding name and logo, but dont overlook the Giant Crab. It has a raw bar, a carving station featuring prime rib, and a hibachi grill, in addition to the obvious seafood favorites, like crab legs, shrimp, scallops and mahi-mahi on its 170-item buffet.
