Some of the best food Ive ever had. Sure its pricey but its a special experience. My wellington arrived a bit overcooked but my brother swapped his with mine. We also tried the filets which were also marvelous. The side orders are great, truffle fries especially were to die for. That sticky toffee pudding melted in my mouth as well. Clean plates all around!
While the food was good and the service was GREATit was highly over rated! Priced too high for what you ordered. My appetizer lobster was the same size as the entree lobster and that was twice the price. The noise level was loud at our table. Will NOT be going back.
GRS excels on so many levels. The food, the ambiance, the facility but most of all the people. Everyone there is always so welcoming and friendly. And the care they extend, with heart warming appreciation, is why we just love coming here. Eating And Exercising Habits
Ramsay said in 2016 that he exercises semi-competitively for his general well-being. He said he has seen overweight and unfit chefs collapse or become unable to move quickly around the kitchen. He often competes in ironman events, marathons, and triathlons. He also eats very little per meal, and prefers to graze throughout the day, partly due to the habit he built up as a judge and chef and also because of his busy schedule. He has a black belt in karate.

A man was left $600 out of pocket after not reading the menu properly at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, but he doesnt regret a thing.
When he decided to visit the celebrity TV chefs steakhouse in Virgin Atlantic City in the US, he already knew he was planning to push the boat out a bit.
He and his girlfriend had a reservation for the outdoor area at Gordon Ramsay Steak at Harrahs
The original plan was to get some Wagyu beef, but when he saw the menu had some triple-seared Japanase A5 also known as Kobe he changed his mind.
Kobe beef is widely considered one of the best cuts of steak available.
The man thought it was a real bargain as on the menu he said it looked as though the Wagyu cost $80 for 8oz, while the Kobe was $35 for 4oz.
It seemed like an irresistible offer, so the man went for it and ordered the Japanese steak.
He said: So Im a big guy, Im hungry, so I order 12 oz of Kobe. The steak was amazing. Im in my 40s and only had Wagyu before in my life just twice.
I had never had real deal Kobe. It was like nothing else youll ever have. Melt in your mouth delicious. We also ordered a couple of sides, appetizers, and my girlfriend had chef Ramsays famous beef wellington for the first time ever.
All in all an amazing meal and we were glad we could support the restaurant and its staff during these challenging times. And I still couldnt believe Kobe was cheaper than Wagyu!

Gordon Ramsay Steak North Kansas City
Went here last night. My friend and I shared the Wellington and scallops along with a wedge salad. The scallops were amazing. The wedge was just alright. As for the Wellington it didnt have any mushrooms in it and the steak tasted like it wasleft over from the day before and reheated. It was not good. I had it at Hells Kitchen in Vegas last month so I know what its supposed to look and taste like and this was nothing like that one. So disappointed!!More
This restaurant is connected to the casino. It is nicer than the casino. The waiter was nice. The steak was very good. They had a nice wine list. And the dessert was also good. No complaints at all.
We were disappointed with the food and atmosphere of the restaurant. We were expecting a very special treat from some of the reviews and it was just above average for the expense.. The food was good. The atmosphere was. simple and not elegant or evena traditional steakhouse look. The service was fine and the waiter was attentive but we received no extras like in some of the reviews. They did not bring steaks out to us to select and did not give us the risotto that some have said they received. They did comp us for my husbands dessert since it was his bd.. It is a nice place to visit but not for the cost. We really wanted a special place and were let down.More

Potty-mouthed celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay was in town yesterday to celebrate the opening of his new steak restaurant at Harrahs North Kansas City, and he generously carved out some time for Flatland.
Ramsay covered a lot of ground in a short time. The clear highlight was his, shall we say, pointed comments on other cities that try to co-opt the term Kansas City Strip. He touted the growing role of vegetarian options on his menus. He also elaborated on the crucial role that music plays in creating great restaurant ambiance.

NORTH KANSAS CITY, Mo.
Chef Gordon Ramsay was in Kansas City Thursday for the launch of his new restaurant at Harrahs Casino.
The restaurant officially opens on Nov. 11.
Kansas City is legendary when it comes to barbecue, Ramsay said.
It is just one of the many reasons the internationally known chef wanted to have a restaurant here.
Its bloody barbecue is freaking delicious, he said.
While his fourth Gordon Ramsay Steak will be more top-end, it will have a Midwest flavor.
The rib caps, the tomahawks, the Wellingtons, you name it, weve got it, he said.
Ramsay said Kansas City is a perfect fit for his restaurant.
Theres something more relaxing about being in Kansas City than you can imagine, he said.
From the artwork to the hometown feel to the food, Ramsay said he has taken charge of it all.
The chef said he might pop in from time to time, so you might see him in Kansas City.

Gordon Ramsay Steak To Open At Caesars Southern Indiana
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — An upscale steakhouse concept from Gordon Ramsay will open in southern Indiana.
According to a news release, Gordon Ramsay Steak is coming to Caesars Southern Indiana. This is the fifth location in North America for the steakhouse, with restaurants also in Las Vegas, Kansas City, Atlantic City and Baltimore.
The official opening date has yet to be announced.
The menu will feature dishes like Beef Wellington and Sticky Toffee Pudding. The 6,051-square-foot steakhouse will have a 170-seat dining room.
“The Southern Indiana-Louisville area is an amazing location, with access to a sophisticated agriculture system,” Gordon Ramsay said in a news release. “In my travels through the Midwest, Ive seen how incredible the quality of the ingredients are. Im really excited to take the amazing culinary bounties of the region and showcase all the area has to offer.”

But Patrick Mahomes and his boys were quick to answer. They made two drives and brought the ball to a 48-yard field goal attempt. Gordon Ramsay Steak will open its first location in the Midwest at Harrahs North Kansas City this November.

It all started back in November 2019. Ramsay was about to open a restaurant in Kansas called Gordon Ramsay Steak. Before doing so, he paid a visit to the Arrowhead stadium. There he saw the field, met coaches and players, and even visited the Chiefs locker room.
The Chiefs presented Gordon Ramsay with a number 19 jersey with his name on it. He even had a cook-off with one of Kansas Citys offensive tackles. Mitchell Schwartz took on the king of the kitchen. Both of them cooked a steak. Schwartz impressed Ramsay with his knowledge of the kitchen.
It seems like Gordon has been a good luck charm for Kansas City. After his arrival in 2019, the Chiefs went 8-1. They won their division and punched their ticket to the Super Bowl that season. And as we all know, the Chiefs won the Super Bowl in 2020. They defeated the San Francisco 49ers with a score of 31-20.
