  • Garlic the more the better. If you know me you know I love my garlic so go nuts!
  • Butter I always use unsalted because this way I can control the salt in all my recipes.
  • Steak I love using a sirloin steak in this recipe and cut it into small pieces. Sirloin packs a lot of flavor and its pretty tender, but still affordable.
  • Olive Oil extra virgin.
  • Salt & Pepper to season to your liking.
  • Red Pepper Flakes for a little bit of heat, so if you want it mild, just skip the pepper flakes.
  • Parsley I always love to garnish everything with a little bit of parsley because it makes the dish look so much better. We eat with our eyes first!

If you hunger for the crisp, saltiness of French fries with steak, these easy baked sweet potato fries offer a low-fat, vitamin-rich alternative that will satisfy your craving. Dried cumin and paprika add extra flavor, but you could stick with sea salt if you prefer a more basic fry.

How To Make Honey Garlic Steak Bites

We are going to start with making our honey garlic sauce: in a small mixing bowl you will want to combine water, low sodium soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, dried oregano, and cornstarch.

Next, you are going to heat up a cast iron skillet until it is smoking hot. Literally smoking hot. The best sizzle for these steak bites can only happen if your skillet is really hot.

Season the steak bites however you like, but I suggest to use some salt and pepper, plus sweet paprika. If not using low sodium soy sauce, I advise not to salt the steak at all.

Add steak bites to the hot oiled skillet and sear for only a few minutes. TIP: DO NOT crowd the pan cook the steak bites in 2 batches.

Place all steak bites back in the pan and stir in the honey garlic sauce. Cook for 1 to 2 more minutes, or until sauce thickens.

Remove from heat transfer to a serving plate, drizzle the pan sauce over your steak, garnish with sesame seeds and serve.

Drizzle the sauce over some rice, or broccoli, or mashed potatoes, too! YUM!

  • How To Make Garlic Butter Steak Bites

    Garlic butter steak bites couldnt be any easier. The secret though, is to use a really hot skillet, because you dont want to overcook the steak. The steak bites really only require about 4 to 5 minutes, if the skillet is hot enough.

    My other secret is to not stir the steak bites for the first 1 or 2 minutes, let it get a nice sear from the skillet. I also like to cook the garlic butter separately because I dont want to add it with the steak, so that the garlic doesnt burn. Then all thats left to do is pour the garlic butter over the steak and serve.
