Nashville is the center of country music in the known world, so its no surprise jealous outsiders sometimes refer to it as a cow town. And thats fine, well own that. Especially if that cow is carved up, cooked under a broiler, and served sizzling hot on a platter in one of these fine restaurants. Here are the best spots to satiate your beef cravings in Nashville.
Best Steakhouses In Nashville
Kayne Prime Steakhouse brings ambiance and city views to the classic American steakhouse. The mood of Kayne Prime is classy and elegant, with luxurious neutral decor. Look for the bustling Broadway Street and turn onto 12th Avenue South and you will be there in no time.
Kayne specializes in sustainably sourced Wagyu beef. They also offer a daily selection menu that changes daily. A trip to Kayne Prime for me means pure indulgence eating here is a multi-course experience. I love to start with the duck tacos, savor the scallops, and end my meal with milk chocolate creme brulee.
Bobs Steak & Chop House
250 Rep. John Lewis Way S, Nashville, TN 37203Phone: 615-761-3707
Next to the Country Music Hall of Fame and inside the Omni hotel is Bobs a masculine steakhouse originally from Texas. Plaid booths and rich deep wood decorate the restaurant floor, while vintage microphones and radios call back to their neighbor to the left. Known for their spectacular service and staff, Bobs is a must-try in Nashville.
Bobs is vocal about their portion sizes do not come here unless you are ready to feast! Their steaks and sides are Texas-sized. The best item on the menu is the prime filet mignon. They always cook it perfectly, and the potato accompaniments complement the meat flawlessly.
Sperrys has two locations, one in Nashville and the other in nearby Franklin. Their Nashville location is about a 20-minute drive from downtown with traffic. The iconic Belle Meade Historic Site & Winery is a six-minute walk away perfect for browsing before you sit down for a filling meal in a tavern setting.
This steakhouse has one of the more classic menus on this list, with plenty of surf & turf options. You cannot go wrong with the filet of beef and bacon-wrapped scallops or the steak fries. However, their house specialty is lobster mac and cheese, and that is my top pick from Sperrys for sure.
