Does Arbys Still Have Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich
Therefore, Arbys has probably been aware of this ever since they discontinued their Prime Rib Cheesesteak in August 2020. Without it, the sandwich will only become more popular. Theres no shortage of Arbys Prime Rib Cheesesteaks, with both Classic and Spicy varieties of the beef cheese dish available.
Emeril’s Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich
I’m not claiming this is an authentic Philly Cheese Steak, I chose this to simulate my favorite cheese steak sub at Sapore di Mare. Elsewhere people have been puzzled why the oven would need to be preheated to 200F why, it is only to warm up the sandwich rolls! Purists will use only Cheese Whiz, but I will always use Provolone. I love an accent of “hots” on my sub, preferably Sun of Italy “Hot Chopped Peppers” sliced pepperoncini or banana peppers also work well. I favor sweet onions, so I added them as an option to Emeril’s recipe. Also, a half and half mixture of olive oil and butter is heavenly but if using a nonstick pan, no fat is really needed. To slice the rib-eye, pound it thin, roll it tightly and wrap in wax paper, freeze 10 minutes, then slice thinly. Personally, I would never dream of using ketchup on this sandwich, although I might try a bit of marinara sauce to make this an Italian cheese steak sandwich. Although most people would threaten me if I gave them half a sandwich, I believe that is the correct size for 1 nutritional serving.

Arbys Adds New Ham Sandwich It Means Up To $20 Million For Hog Farmers
DES MOINES, Iowa _ A new $2.69 ham and cheese sandwich on the menu of 2,500 Arbys restaurants could add up to $20 million to the sales of the nations hog farmers, pork producers said Thursday.
Arbys Inc., a fast-food chain best known for its roast beef sandwiches, said it will promote a hot ham and swiss submarine sandwich in March with a national advertising campaign.
The menu addition could double Arbys annual purchases of ham from 5 million to 10 million pounds, something that would increase its total use of pork to 12.3 million pounds in 1993, said Lloyd Fritzmeier, president of Arbys Franchise Association. The ham will be purchased from Geo. A. Hormel & Co. and from a ConAgra Inc. unit, Armour Swift-Eckrich, he said.
The new sandwich means big bucks for farmers at a time when expanding herds have presented an oversupply problem that has been a drag on profits.
Im really excited, said Tim Rose, a Lyons, Kan. farmer who heads the National Pork Producers Council.
Rose estimated the 5 million pound increase in ham sales is equivalent to the sale of 350,000 hogs and would add $14 million to $20 million to the annual gross value of all hogs sold in the United States.
Charles Harness, a spokesman for the Iowa-based pork council, said 53 percent of all pork produced in this country now is used either by restaurants or institutional food services, such as nursing homes, school cafeterias and corporate kitchens.
Does Arbys Sell Roast Beef By The Pound
If you are interested in purchasing Arbys deli meat without the bread and fixings, you can do so. Arbys sells their roasted turkey, ham, and corned beef by the pound. However, unfortunately, Arbys roast beef is not sold by the pound.
Arbys states they conducted a survey when determining which deli meats they would sell by the pound, and customers responded that they only preferred cold-cut deli meats. Since roast beef requires to be warmed and roasted, it was excluded.
You can bring home the meats by driving through the drive-thru and ordering the roasted turkey, ham, and corned beef by the ½ pound or the pound at participating locations.

Prime Rib Takes Cheesesteak Up A Level At Arby’s
Previous cheesesteak offerings from Arby’s, the “We Have The Meats” restaurant, including the Fire Roasted Philly that debuted back in 2016, used the chain’s traditional roast beef. The Fire Roasted Philly, which is still on the menu, adds Italian seasonings, Swiss cheese, red and yellow peppers, and roasted garlic aioli on a sub roll.
This time around, the new menu items include the Spicy Prime Rib Cheesesteak, with sliced prime rib, sautéed red and yellow peppers, onions shredded provolone cheese, and a spicy sauce in a toasted sub roll. It has 640 calories. The Classic Prime Rib Cheesesteak also features the sliced prime rib, red and yellow peppers, onions, and melted provolone. No spicy sauce on the classic, and it comes in at 600 calories .
Are these the real deal, such that one would find in Philadelphia? No, but give Arby’s credit for an upscale and creative twist on a classic, and get ’em while you can, because they’re on the limited time menu.
Arbys Just Added Two New Sandwiches That Arent What Youd Expect
If Arbys isnt the first restaurant you think of when you hear the word prime rib, the folks at the 3,400-unit chain want to change your mind with two new cheesesteak sandwiches that use this top-grade cut of beef.
Prime rib is as good as it gets, often reserved for holiday dinners and special occasions, so to use it in a humble fast food cheesesteak sandwich is a little surprising. Often, cheesesteaks are made with the cheaper skit steak or sirloin, fried with onions and sometimes peppers, tossed with some American cheese, provolone, or, in the case of the classic original Genos in Philadelphia, Cheez Whiz, then slid from the pan into the roll.
Arbys cheesesteaks are starting with cooked, shaved prime rib however, then adding the peppers and onions and provolone. While the preparation strays from the traditional, the upgrade in meat is an interesting one. Prime rib is an excellent cut of meat and well worth the price when you buy it at your local grocer, according to Cooks Illustrated, so adding it to an Arbys offering certainly boosts its allure.

How Much Is The Arbys Cheese Steak Sandwich
You dont have to sacrifice frills to make this sandwich, since it includes a trio of Swiss, Cheddar, and Gouda cheese sandwich along with an Angus steak grilled on a star-cut bun with creamy Steakhouse Peppercorn sauce and crispy onion strings. You can choose either one as a permanent menu addition if $5 is suggested retail price.
Arbys Double Stacked Reuben
The Arbys take on a reuben sandwich is already a thing of beauty in its own right. This sandwich was originally launched as part of the Big City Sandwiches campaign, which was first introduced in 2017. The lineup included the New York Reuben, the Fire Roasted Philly, and the Chicago-Style Beef Dip. The Chicago-Style Beef Dip is the only sandwich out of the trio that is no longer available although you can hack the menu by ordering a French Dip & Swiss with roasted peppers, banana peppers, and Italian seasoning added, a sort of hybrid between the Loaded Italian and the French Dip & Swiss.
The standard Reuben starts with marbled rye bread, then adds melted Swiss cheese, sliced corned beef, sauerkraut, and thousand island dressing for a pretty classy fast food version of this classic New York deli sandwich. To make it a double-stacked Reuben from the Arbys secret menu, all you have to do is ask for your sandwich to be made with double meat thats just about as easy as secret menu ordering gets! The Arbys Reuben sandwich is typically made with three and a half ounces of meat, so the double-stacked version will get you to a full seven ounces, or almost half a pound, of the chains sliced corned beef.

The Meat Mountain Sandwich
We have the meats isnt just a slogan as evidenced by this mountain of a meat sandwich. It starts off with two chicken tenders, then piles on slices of roast turkey, pit-smoked ham, corned beef, 13-hour smoked brisket, USDA-choice Angus steak, roast beef, and pepper bacon. Oh, and they add cheddar cheese and Swiss cheese in there, too.

On the rare occasions we do go to Arbys I always ask for an extra few packets, and whatever we dont use that day, we just keep in our fridge for when we make these at home.
