Vic & Anthonys Steakhouse
The classic ambiance of Vic & Anthonys Steakhouse. Vic & Anthony
Vic & Anthonys is a family business from Texas, and their restaurants are now in Atlantic City, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. The Vegas location is inside the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino on Fremont Street. While youre here, check out the exciting range of entrees, including roasted salmon with jumbo lump crab, maple-glazed quail, and the famous seafood tower of rock lobster, shrimp, oysters, and more.
The chateaubriand makes for a great main course, and you have a range of other steaks to choose from, including Wagyu beef and USDA prime options. Every day at 5:00 PM, the steakhouse holds a cocktail hour, and if youre more of a wine person, Vic and Anthonys also has an extensive wine list to suit every meal.
Prices range from $21 for one of the cheapest appetizers to $85 for a steak.

Del Friscos Double Eagle Steakhouse
3925 Paradise Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89169Phone: 702-796-0063
Classic steak restaurants can be hit or miss. Still, Del Friscos has learned how to keep that ambiance of Old Vegas, sleek sophistication without losing an air of comfort in their Paradise Rd.
location suited blocks from the Flamingo and Caesars Palace hotels. While you can expect to pay more in Las Vegas, its nice to share dishes and get a bit more for your dollar.
I appreciated how many of their menu items are devoted to sharing dishes. On the cold side, there are seafood towers and tuna tartare with jumbo lump crab cakes on the hot side.
One thing you wont want to share is the desserts. I recommend the salted caramel chocolate mousse with miniature chocolate cookies.
If youre staying at a hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, you owe it to yourself to make the trip to the Delmonico Steakhouse located inside the Venetian Hotel.
The restaurant is owned by TV personality and celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse who has drawn on his roots and created a Creole-inspired steakhouse.
His fusion menu boasts traditional steakhouse items blended with Southern flavors, creating items like traditional gumbo and barbeque shrimp alongside bone-in rib-eye steaks.
Make sure to save room for the banana cream pie for dessert and enjoy one of the 700 whiskey selections on offer.
In The Kitchen With Mark Lorusso
“I grew up in a typical Italian-American family that enjoyed traditional Sunday dinners,” says Mark LoRusso, executive chef at SW Steakhouse. “I always loved those Sundays, because from an early age I saw that connection between dinnertime and family, and how food calmed everything and made people happy. For that reason, I never wanted to do anything else than be a chef.”LoRusso has helmed several kitchens at Wynn and Encore Las Vegas, but since joining SW in 2021, he’s now overseeing the undisputed power-dining spot in the city. “This is where everybody wants to eat, no question,” he notes. “Almost every night you spot someone famous: actors, athletes, and people who just really love food. We have to be top of our game every night.”At SW, guests enjoy a balance of exceptional beef with LoRusso’s latest additions. “We get beautiful steaks from Snake River Farms and certified Kobe cuts, but I added a fresh ravioli with crab meat and artichokes in a Meyer lemon sauce that also does really well,” he says. “When I see someone take that first bite and smile, it reminds me why I became a chef.”

This upscale Old Vegas-style restaurant has a menu centered around in-house aged, corn-fed beef plus Italian specialties, so if youre not a big fan of steak and are visiting with someone who is, youll both walk away happy.
Its best to make a reservation however, you may find seats at the bar if you arrive without one.
While the steaks are excellent and the service is fantastic, my favorite dishes are the ones served tableside.
Their caesar salad and either bananas foster or cherries jubilee, depending on when you visit, will have you captivated. Top the whole experience off with Sinatra playing for ambiance, and you have a great night.
Located inside the Wynn Hotel and next to the Lake of Dreams, SW Steakhouse has a great menu and one of my favorite light and music shows.
Dine inside or on a nice night, try the beautiful outdoor terrace for dining, and watch the nighttime show. It is a great place to impress a date, especially if they love food.
The menu serves luxury items well-prepared with dishes like Japanese Wagyu, outrageously huge tomahawk steaks, or try my pick of sea scallops with English pea risotto and black truffle sauce.
I like it with a revamped classic cocktail like their improved Old Fashioned.

Golden Steer Las Vegas
- Price Range $74+ Rib Eye Steak with Bone-in 22oz Plus Side
The Golden Steer is practically part of Las Vegas Folklore. Just off the Strip but well north of central Las Vegas the Golden Steer has maintained a reputation as somewhere really worth hunting out. And the reason? The Steaks here are basically second to none.
The Exterior of this Timeless vegas Haunt has lost a lot of its sparkle, and thats being generous, but inside things take a turn for the better. This is a real old-school Vegas Haunt. Like a living museum, you can feel yourself dining in history. Plush leather Booths, deep pile carpets, and low moody lighting all add to the atmosphere and feeling of dining in the footsteps of Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr along with a few more infamous and even shady characters.
A real Vegas experience, and one that takes you right back to the glory days of the city, but one that loses nothing in the culinary stakes by doing so. Restaurants like this can get by on reputation and allow quality to slide, but at the Golden Steer, the culinary experience is as perfect as its ever been.

Delmonico Steakhouse 3355 Las Vegas Blvd S The Venetian
Next up on the list is Delmonico Steakhouse in The Venetian. Helmed by celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse, the Delmonico is a modern take on the majestic American steakhouse concept.
