The chef’s Spanish heritage is felt throughout the meal, from chicken croquettes and gazpacho to fire-roasted suckling pig and melt-in-your-mouth Jamon Iberico de Bellota . But you’re really here for the steaks and the restaurant takes things up a level with a variety of Japanese wagyu cuts and flavorful ribeyes from mature 8-year-old cows. Along the way, you’ll enjoy weird stuff like foie gras cotton candy and a tomato tartare that nearly tastes like beef. This upscale Old Vegas-style restaurant has a menu centered around in-house aged, corn-fed beef plus Italian specialties, so if youre not a big fan of steak and are visiting with someone who is, youll both walk away happy.
Its best to make a reservation however, you may find seats at the bar if you arrive without one.
While the steaks are excellent and the service is fantastic, my favorite dishes are the ones served tableside.
Their caesar salad and either bananas foster or cherries jubilee, depending on when you visit, will have you captivated. Top the whole experience off with Sinatra playing for ambiance, and you have a great night.
Located inside the Wynn Hotel and next to the Lake of Dreams, SW Steakhouse has a great menu and one of my favorite light and music shows.
Dine inside or on a nice night, try the beautiful outdoor terrace for dining, and watch the nighttime show. It is a great place to impress a date, especially if they love food.
The menu serves luxury items well-prepared with dishes like Japanese Wagyu, outrageously huge tomahawk steaks, or try my pick of sea scallops with English pea risotto and black truffle sauce.
I like it with a revamped classic cocktail like their improved Old Fashioned.
Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis
Hank’s is the only steakhouse in Henderson to serve certified Kobe beef. Ask for it as part of a smoky carpaccio or seared at low temperatures by the ounce with a choice of optional seasonings on the side. However, a 28-day bone-in Chicago ribeye could be more your speed if you’re looking to pay less and eat more. The restaurant also pays close attention to the sourcing of seafood, especially the robust Hokkaido scallops. Classic steak restaurants can be hit or miss. Still, Del Friscos has learned how to keep that ambiance of Old Vegas, sleek sophistication without losing an air of comfort in their Paradise Rd.
location suited blocks from the Flamingo and Caesars Palace hotels. While you can expect to pay more in Las Vegas, its nice to share dishes and get a bit more for your dollar.
I appreciated how many of their menu items are devoted to sharing dishes. On the cold side, there are seafood towers and tuna tartare with jumbo lump crab cakes on the hot side.
One thing you wont want to share is the desserts. I recommend the salted caramel chocolate mousse with miniature chocolate cookies.

The restaurant is owned by TV personality and celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse who has drawn on his roots and created a Creole-inspired steakhouse.
His fusion menu boasts traditional steakhouse items blended with Southern flavors, creating items like traditional gumbo and barbeque shrimp alongside bone-in rib-eye steaks.

The Nitty Gritty: Its hard to pass up a chance to visit the Las Vegas version of one of our favorite Chicago area steakhouses. Joes is the place to go for white linen tables, impeccable service, gourmet wines and, of course, only the finest in Midwest raised, USDA Prime beef. While youre there, go ahead and add on a side of their famous stone crab and passing on a slice of key lime pie for desert should be a crime.

Fogo de Chao is a great place to start if youve never been to a Brazilian Steakhouse. Located off the Strip in the Hughes Center business park, they can offer slightly lower prices due to their location, but the main reason to visit is the all-you-can-eat meat and sides.
The meats are brought to you, and you always have fresh food on offer.
There are plenty of choices. Ten or more all-you-can-eat fire-roasted meats are included in the Churrasco experience, plus the option to pay more to add premium meats like Wagyu.
Save room for the delicious caramelized bananas included with the meal and spend a little extra to have one of their non-alcoholic drinks like the grapefruit elderflower spritz.
Two stories tall with a tavern-style open bar lounge, the Smith & Wollensky makes its presence known amongst the Grand Canal Shoppes as part of the Venetian Hotel property.
Within walking distance of Madame Tussauds wax museum, the warm and inviting atmosphere makes it a great date night or just going solo, especially if youre already staying in the Venetian.
All their canopies advertise their steak and chips, which are great but consider my favorite dishes, the truffle mac and cheese, and their fried lobster.
