Reviews For Jw Marriott Nashville
Fantastic hotel experience. Sleek and polished lobby with attentive staff, + Cumberland bar and Stompin Grounds cafe on same level. We stayed in room 2214 – spacious, quiet, and floor to ceiling city views. Large bathroom. No microwave nor refrigerator space. Rooftop restaurant & bar Bourbon Steak was exceptional. Location only a couple blocks from all the attractions – Broadway, museums, Gulch, Music Row, etc. End to end great experience and would definitely recommend!

Promotion Moves Welch To The Top Spot In The Jw Marriott Nashville Steakhouse Kitchen
JW Marriott Nashville and Michael Minas Mina Group have promoted Quentin Welch to executive chef at Bourbon Steak, the swanky steakhouse at the top of the hotel.
Welch plans to stick with the formula that has made Bourbon Steak successful , and she plans to continue to make it a place for birthdays and anniversaries for locals, as well as for well-heeled guests. We push ourselves a lot, she says of the restaurants reputation for high-end steak, seafood and wine, plus impeccable service.
While the restaurant is a steakhouse through and through, Welch appreciates that it feels different, not stuffy or old-school. Having a woman at the helm will further that approach in a realm that can sometimes feel like an old boys network. I have been working at Mina for a while, so everybody knows me,” says Welch. “If I were coming in brand-new it would be more challenging.” Welch adds that many of the Bourbon Steak clientele are women , so some of those male-centric stereotypes may be outdated.
After the past year, Welch is ready to get back to robust nights with every seat filled. The restaurant and bar are open for dine-in service there is still a slightly reduced number of seats at the bar.

It comes from Michael Mina, a powerhouse chef and restaurateur who has opened more than 40 restaurants around the world.

About Our Chef: Michael Mina
Born in Cairo, Egypt, and raised in Ellensburg, Washington, Chef Michael Mina has enjoyed a love affair with the kitchen, creating memorable dining experiences for guests from a very early age.

The eaterys food, drink and unbeatable views have become so coveted, that Nashville locals are starting to outnumber hotel guests at the tables. Even celebrities flock to the steakhouse in the skyRingo Star and Stephen Curry are among the many to walk inside the doors.
So what makes Bourbon Steak so enjoyable? Although the initial attraction may be the 360-degree downtown views from the floor-to-ceiling windows in both the restaurant and Sky Bar, JW Marriott Nashvilles Hanna Bankston said that diners return for the unique food and beverage experience.
Once guests dine with us, they quickly learn that the views are merely an accessory to the overall experiences we work tirelessly to create, she said.

Compliments Of The Kitchen
Settle in with a cocktail there are classics and corresponding rebellious versions, each artfully crafted. Soon youll receive a complimentary amuse-bouche instead of bread service, its duck-fat fries service. The perfectly cut and cooked potatoes, their toothsome crunch yielding fluffy interiors, are delivered in a trio of flavors truffle, fines herbs and dill pickle, each with corresponding sauces. These could easily rank as the best fries youve ever eaten.
But, should you want bread, order the black-truffle butter Parker House rolls. Then swoon.
What To Expect
