Ruth’s Chris Steak House Reviews

Our server Marcus was so amazing. He knew all the details about the best steaks and sides and even desserts. He treated so professionally and with class and made our first experience so amazing. We will definitely be back and hope to get Marcus as our server again.

The experience was outstanding. I chose Ruth’s Classic . It included a starter, entree with a side and a chef choice dessert. The server was attentive and inquired about any special occasions. I shared I was celebrating my birthday. I chose Lobster Bisque to start, followed by the entree of and 11oz filet, lobster tail and asparagus. The surprise was a house made cheesecake topped fruit.

Wow, I must say it was SOOOO GOOD! I was VERY impressed, the salmon was so tender, juicy, flaky and flavorful! the crab cakes, and potatoes au gratin we’re delicious too!!

Fogo De Cho Brazilian Steakhouse

Chophouse New Orleans Prime Steaks Restaurant

614 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70130Phone: 504-412-8900

On the famous Canal Street is a tasty Brazilian Steakhouse. Its central location near Bourbon Street, the aquarium, and other memorable New Orleans spots make it a great place for a meal after exploring or before you head out for the night. The atmosphere is a combination of modern and traditional, making it a comfortable spot for casual or upscale dining.

Theres plenty of delicious options on the menu at Fogo de Chao, from traditional Brazilian meats, side dishes, seafood, and more. What could be better than bacon-wrapped steak? Nothing. When you dine here, you cant leave without trying it. As for a side dish, their caramelized bananas were the best Ive ever had.

The next Nola steakhouse you need to try is called Steak Knife Restaurant and you can find them off of Harrison Avenue in the Lakeview neighborhood, right next to the sprawling City Park.

When you get here, I recommend starting things off with an appetizer like escargot and an order of garlic toast. After that, Its a choice between filet mignon, ribeye, New York strip, and my personal favorite, the porterhouse.

Come check out this locally-owned, family-run fixture of New Orleans for the past 40 years and see what the Roth family has in store for you.

Best Steakhouses In New Orleans

  • Chophouse New Orleans
  • Located only minutes from Canal Street, Chophouse New Orleans is one of the highest-rated steakhouses in the city. Barbara and Jerry Greenbaum knew that the Big Easy needed an upscale steakhouse near some of the citys most popular areas. The atmosphere boasts your typical steakhouse decor. Dark features, white table cloths, and mood lighting to boot.

All the steaks at Chophouse are aged for 28 days and then prepared Pittsburgh-style with a charred exterior. They only serve USDA prime steaks such as filet mignon, bone-in ribeye, and more. When in NOLA, you have to enjoy as much Cajun food as possible. Their Cajun-style Delmonico steak is a fan favorite.

Youll find Mr. Johns along the historic St. Charles Avenue streetcar line. Mr. Johns has been a steakhouse staple in New Orleans since 2006, and the owners have a passion for serving the highest quality steaks. From the outside, Mr. Johns looks unassuming. The style is old school, with white tablecloths, linen napkins, and dim lighting that sets the mood for your perfect meal.

If youre looking for a place to get a great steak in New Orleans, Dickie Brennans is the place to be. The Brennan family has roots in the Big Easy and strives to serve locals and visitors the best steak in the city.

    Ruths Chris Steak House

525 Fulton St, New Orleans, LA 70130Phone: 504-587-7099

Usually, I encourage people to avoid chain restaurants or spots that you can eat at in other towns, but Ruths Chris Steakhouse is one of the best in New Orleans. Even if youve been to a Ruths before, the original was opened in 1965, right in NOLA. Youll find this steakhouse inside the famous Harrahs Hotel.

The chefs features are regularly changing, and the best place to start if youre not sure what you want. Regardless of which steak you order, you cant leave without ordering a slice of their chocolate sin cake.

Even if youve never been to New Orleans, youve heard of Bourbon Street. Its one of the most famous streets in the United States and home to one of the best places for steak in the Big Easy.

Galatoires 33 has easily become one of the best places in the city for celebrating special occasions or simply spending time with the people you love the most. Theyre a traditional steakhouse, but the decor is brighter, and the chandeliers bring elegance to the joint.

Dine at the Best Table Service Restaurants

Such an iconic steakhouse feel. Thank you so much for accommodating our party of 13 in your private dining room . We enjoyed every minute of our time there. Great service, wine and the option of ordering from the New Orleans Coolinary prix fixe menu or the standard menu. Our steaks were perfect and I didn’t hear a single complaint from anyone in our party. We appreciated every bit of the Brennan southern hospitality we’ve come to expect. We’ll be back next time we’re in NOLA!

What an incredible experience! We were celebrating our anniversary and this was the perfect place. Our server, Alfredo, was incredible. He made everything so special for us in every way and was so good to us. The drinks were strong and food was phenomenal. Asparagus salad was a delicious start. The signature strip steak with Cajun spices was to die for, especially with their house peppercorn sauce. The au gratin potatoes was so yummy. Its a meal Ill dream of until we get to return again. Truly a fantastic experience and a NOLA gem.

Had a wonderful chateaubriand and great experience at DB’s! Really cool old-school vibe. Loved the tiled floors. Great service and drinks too. Highly recommend this spot for steaks!!

    REVIEWS:

I ate at CCSH last night with a large party. They had blocked off the entire second floor for us and had everything ready for us before we arrived. The staff was on point with a group of over twenty. I ordered a ribeye medium rare and potatoes. The steak came out perfectly with a warm red center. It was amazing! The cheese covered potatoes only added another level of deliciousness. Highly recommend! Mark Perez-Sandi

    Chophouse New Orleans Reviews

A classic steakhouse. We came into town on a Tuesday night not thinking much of our reservation but Claude the manager along with the flavor of our food made a statement. He was very attentive, professional and personable. My husband and I were very impressed at how he managed to go to every table and check to make sure every steak was cooked as ordered and to make sure our experience was excellent. A local gem highly recommended.

This is a quality dining experience! Simply put, everything was wonderful! The service was impeccable, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for a celebratory dinner. The steak was perfectly cooked. I had the best baked potato I’ve ever had. The sides looked amazing. My boyfriend got the fries, which are like steak fries and the onion rings, which were huge! The lobster tails looked delicious as well. I highly recommend getting reservations in advance. Overall, this is a great dining choice.

This is a high end steak and seafood restaurant. It’s definitely pricey but worth it. We started with the seafood platter with the addition of the stone crabs. The fried lobster was the best thing on the platter. Filet mignon was well prepared. The hash browns were recommended by a local but I would skip them next time.
