Mushrooms can be a divisive vegetable, but even my friends who usually dont like them cant resist the White Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms at LongHorn.
While you can still taste the mushroom flavor, they are roasted rather than sauteed, which takes away the rubbery texture that mushrooms often have.
Of course, the real stars of the show are the garlic herb cheese stuffing, the Parmesan crust, and the bed of creamy four-cheese sauce the mushrooms are served on.
Its impossible to resist the combination of garlic and endless cheese, and the mushrooms balance out the richness. Plus, since its a vegetable, these are healthy trust me!

My favorite has to be the Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich, which is especially good as part of a combo. The sandwich is 6 oz. of perfectly crispy buttermilk fried chicken, hand-breaded, and placed in a delicious brioche bun.
The bun is topped with LongHorns incredibly good house-made ranch dressing, which elevates it to another level. If you get the lunch combo, you can choose a soup, salad, or side.

The history of Longhorn restaurant is amazing and very interesting. Let me tell you why. The LongHorn Steakhouse was started in the year 1981 in the small town of Georgia, Atlanta. What started as a passion for cooking the perfect steaks for his guest, soon became a profession for George McKerrow Junior. In the initial stages, the restaurant was named Longhorn Steak restaurant and saloon.
The restaurant was unable to do good business because of a lack of marketing, but this did not discourage the owner as he continued to go with it. But times changed, when a dreadful snowfall hit the town of Atlanta, and several motorcyclists were marooned in the town. It brought the attention of the motorcyclist to the restaurant, and soon the flavors of LongHorn Steakhouse steaks spread like Wildfire, and there was no looking back.
Very soon, the owner of LongHorn Steakhouse spread his reach to all the corners of the United States along with Puerto Rico. All of this happened in the year of 1990. Currently, the restaurant has stores in almost 400 locations and is owned by the Darden Restaurants, which bought the rights of the restaurant from its original owner in the year of 2007.

Longhorn is open seven days per week. The hours of operation for Longhorn are usually 11:00 am 10:00 pm Monday through Thursday, and 11:00 am 11:00 pm Fridays and Saturdays. However, the times can vary depending on where you live. The restaurant opens at 11:00 am for lunch and starts serving dinner at 4:00 pm. Longhorn values family time and closes on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. The restaurant closes at 8 pm on Christmas Eve. It is open during normal business hours for all holidays. The restaurant does not accept reservations. It does offer Call-Ahead Waiting, which allows guests to call ahead to request a waitlist. This will reduce the wait time.

While the chocolate stampede may have been too much for us, one dessert that we like slightly better is the strawberries and cream shortcake. While this dessert is pretty rich, it’s lighter than the chocolate stampede because it’s focused on cream and fruit instead of chocolate. However, that doesn’t mean that this shortcake isn’t indulgent as well. It’s got layers of moist and fluffy yellow shortcake, vanilla cream, and deliciously sweet strawberry jam. Fresh strawberries and syrup are then poured over the top, adding even more flavor to the mix. We like that, though this dessert is sweet, there’s enough tartness from the berries to balance everything out.
Though this is a winning dessert, there is one thing we don’t love about it: If you let it sit too long, the bottom layer of the cake gets all soggy in the strawberry syrup. This results in a less-than-pleasant texture you don’t want to experience. If you order this dessert, just make sure you eat it all at the restaurant it’s not the best thing to take home.

Been Almost A Year And App Still Unusable
When the Longhorn app was first introduced, I used it to try to pay for my check. Input all the information, and submitted payment, and even got a confirmation number, but server could not verify that payment was made. He got the manager involved, who even called their tech support, and could not figure it out. After a half hour of waiting, I also verified that the payment had not been charged to my card, so I paid again with a physical card. Now, many months later, I figured I would try it again. This time, I even tried to pre-populate my payment information, and the app fails to verify my card info, and also tells me that the logged in person doesnt match the card info . When that failed again for a second time, I decided to try to fill out the rest of my preferences. I went into settings, and tried to turn on FaceID, and the app instantly crashed! Tried a few more times, with the same result. Ok, giving up, but I should at least try to contact app support under the App Store, so selected the support link, and… it took me to a web page that would not load!Final last resort – leave this review… hopefully someone gets the hint!
