About Jims Steakhousea Quarter
Over a quarter of a century ago, Jims Steakhouse opened in Peoria. It built its reputation on the finest quality beef available. That beef was dry-aged a time-consuming and expensive process indulged in by only a few, and only in the finest restaurants nationwide. Steak and rib roasts were then prepared with expert care and subtle seasoning to produce a meal of substantial proportions to meet the most demanding connoisseurs and gourmets. It was through these practices that Jims Steakhouse developed its unrivaled reputation for the finest steaks and prime rib anywhere.
Needless to say, when Jims Steakhouse added seafood and other delicacies to its menu, it could offer nothing but the best in order to maintain its own standards.

The Story Behind Our Famous Dressing
Our celebrated Brittany dressing was adopted from The Brittany restaurant years ago when Jim’s Steakhouse bought The Brittany. You might have heard about the dressing or tasted it at one of our sister restaurants in Central Illinois.
Year after year, our customers rave about the delicious, flavorful, mouth-watering dressing. A favorite among customers, many have tried to discover the secret recipe. While we can’t give away our secret recipe, we will tell you that our main ingredient is bacon.
