“Our goal is to always bring one-of-a-kind retailers and restaurants to Colorado Springs, meaning to bring tenants that are not currently in the market,” she said. “The vast majority of our retailers and restaurants are the only location in Colorado Springs, so you can’t find them anywhere else.”
The Promenade Shops at Briargate opened in 2003 as an open-air lifestyle center, with upscale stores and restaurants. Its tenants include Apple, Eddie Bauer, Banana Republic, J. Crew, Ted’s Montana Grill and P.F. Chang’s, among others.
Meanwhile, Soft Surroundings, a St. Louis-based women’s apparel store that also sells beauty and home products, plans to open its first Colorado Springs location Oct. 7 at Promenade Shops at Briargate, Miller said.
Soft Surroundings also has Colorado stores in Broomfield and Lone Tree.
The retailer will occupy 4,000 square feet that previously housed the Jos. A. Bank men’s clothing store.
Jos. A. Bank is moving to a 4,500-square-foot space in one of two buildings constructed at the shopping center. Jos. A. Bank will open in its new location Friday, Miller said.
