Visiting family in the area and we all decided to go to Olde Towne Steak & Seafood. BIG MISTAKE!! Nothing like it used to be. The rolls delivered were burnt on the bottom. Three of us ordered Filet Mignon steaks and two ordered seafood platters….The steaks were very bland & lacked flavor. My husband ordered his steak well done & blackened. The steak was cooked medium/medium rare and NOT blackened. When we finally flagged the waitress down and showed her the steak she wanted to know how much pink we wanted it? Really – one member of our party spoke up and explained that the steak we record was NOT well done by any means and it should have limit if no pink inside!! The steak was sent back, reheated and then was tough. Our steaks came with crab-stuffed shrimp. The crab meat looked like it was canned – gross looking gooey consistency with no taste. We went to Olde Town Steak and Seafood during the week so it was not busy at all. The server was very nice and prompt until he went MIA 2/3s through the meal. Our food was pretty good. The prime rib looked huge when it came out but after cutting away all the gristle and fat it was average. The flavor was good. The anniversary desert we ordered was delicious.
