I first had this dish years ago at Olive Garden. It is one of those dishes that I grew to crave. There is a lot going one here, but somehow it all works.
Instead of the traditional chicken with alfredo, it’s filet mignon medallions. There’s a delicious balsamic reduction drizzled over the top to add a sweetness to offset the savory components. Spinach is added directly to the sauce to wilt and add color and texture.
When I made this Olive Garden Steak Gorgonzola and tasted it for the first time, I was transported to Italy. Just kidding, but I was transported to having it at Olive Garden. It’s just as good, if not better than the restaurant version. And, by making it at home everyone in the family can enjoy it at a fraction of the price. Plus, if they aren’t going to bring back Olive Garden Steak Gorgonzola, I needed a way to still enjoy it.
Olive Garden Steak Gorgonzola Alfredo

The Olive Garden Steak Gorgonzola Alfredo is a recipe that so many of you have requested that I would do, so I knew this had to be a delicious recipe to try to recreate.
If you love steak and alfredo sauce, this may be the perfect last meal for you. This method includes a perfectly seared steak served with the famous Olive Garden Alfredo Sauce. This recipe also includes a touch of fresh spinach and just a hint of rich gorgonzola cheese that you will love.
When I first tried this in the Olive Garden, I was blown away with the complexity of the dish. And we are adding just a couple of extra ingredients to make this dish taste amazing.
Gorgonzola is a type of blue cheese. It is stronger than your everyday blue cheese. So you can use blue cheese with this recipe if you desire. Gorgonzola cheese can be found in most grocery stores. If you cannot find gorgonzola, you can use blue cheese.
One of the things I like most about recreating a recipe at home is I get to make choices when I cook. For the steak, I used a ribeye cut when I prepared this delightful dish. I cooked my steak as a whole, then cut it into large pieces and placed it on the pasta.
The Olive Garden cuts their steak first and then cooks it. I like my steak rarer so by cooking the steak as a whole I feel I can get more of a rare portion of the steak. You can cook the steak as you desire, and best of all you can use the cut of steak you like the most.
Beef With Cheese Tortellini
Oh. Mah. Gawd. It’s so unbelievably good. Tons of food too, and it’s rich – so there’s always leftovers. It’s got asiago cheese tortellini, and little braised beef medallions and mushrooms/diced tomatoes, in a marsala-basil cream sauce.

This copycat Olive Garden minestrone soup recipe is jam-packed with beans, zucchini, onion, tomatoes, carrots, pasta, and spices but O.G.’s secret formula doesn’t include chicken broth. Canned vegetable broth found in the soup aisle of most markets works as a base here in this secret formula that bursts with flavor as a purely vegetarian dish.
hot boiled tortellini 2 tablespoons of parsley Over medium-high heat, preheat oil in large deep skillet or pan. Brown the short ribs, transfer to large plate when done Over low heat, soften chopped onions in the fat remaining in the skillet.
Taco Bell Bell Beefer. Taco Bell Bell Beefer has everything you love in a taco stacked inside a fluffy bun. Delicious taco seasoned ground beef, taco sauce, cheese, onions, and lettuce between toasted hamburger buns make an incredibly tasty sandwich.

Can You Make Anything Besides The Olive Garden Steak Gorgonzola With This Sauce
Totally! While this recipe has a few more bells and whistles, making alfredo sauce at home only takes a few simple ingredients: butter, cream, and parmesan cheese. Freshly grated parmesan melts perfectly into the sauce and adds a perfect saltiness to the dish. Simply omit everything else and you have a simple alfredo sauce at home.
Selecting Your Cheeses For The Alfredo
Cheese is definitely the star here, so ideally you want to get good quality cheese, especially the Parmesan. None of that ground, canned stuff!
I love to buy wedges of Parmesan Reggiano cheese and use one of my favorite tools, a food processor, to shred the brick and then I keep it in my refrigerator in plastic bags so that I always have fresh, quality cheese shredded on hand.
The cheese makes a difference here, so I strongly recommend buying the fresh cheese.
True Parmesan cheese can be expensive, but there are variations that taste very similar.
I tend to get Romano or Parmesan Romano for the same taste with a lower price tag.
And while the recipe calls for Gorgonzola cheese, any type of blue cheese works great!
What makes this dish so amazing is truly the balsamic.
The acidity cuts through all of the richness, plus balsamic is just amazing in general. On everything. So good.
And yes, this dish is quite rich, being made from cream and all.
But I find that because it is heavy, I eat a lot less of it so it is not all that bad, right??!?
Plus, the tomatoes, spinach, and steak make it stretch pretty far as well
I also love to use this quick and easy balsamic glazeon top to help cut through the richness of the sauce.
My husband is so in love with this balsamic glaze, he will not eat this any other way now!
I hope you enjoy this Copycat Olive Garden Steak Gorgonzola Alfredo!

Mans Heart Is Broken Over Loss Of Olive Garden Dish
In todays crazy world, there are plenty of reasons to be sad. Your sadness may derive from the knowledge that the polar ice caps are slowly melting and therefore changing the coastlines around the world or perhaps that innate sorrow stems from the great divide in our country as we struggle to find some sort of commonality in our individual ideals for society. But if youre a guy named Monty, your sadness is coming from Olive Garden and the fact that they replaced Steak Gorgonzola.
I always believed that one persons emotions were no more important than another persons emotions, but thanks to Monty I no longer accept that. Monty has shown me that there are some levels of sadness that are simply more important than others. I mean, Steak Gorgonzola no longer being offered at Olive Garden? Yeah, thats a grief unknown to most of us and we all need to band together to send Monty our love. Sure, Olive Garden offers a Braised Beef Gorgonzola-Alfredo, but its just not the same. We cannot expect Monty to let braised beef into his heart like he did with the steak. What if he falls in love with that dish only to have the culinary team at Olive Garden suddenly decide its no longer a viable option and rip it from the menu? Taking an item off the menu is easy, but taking it away from Montys heart is just plain cruel.

Steak Gorgonzola Alfredo With Reduced Balsamic Copycat Olive Ga
One of my favorite meals when I go to Olive Garden is the “Steak Gorgonzola Alfredo.” I got to thinking, I can make this at home, more often and A LOT better. This recipe is one that is made at least twice a month, and my family demands it. When I started making this recipe, I would make my own balsamic reduction. I have recently found it pre-made in my Grocery store. Pre-made may not be better, but it does not stink up my house with vinegar for days. The Steak used at OG is one of the worst cuts I have ever had. I like to make my own because I can use whatever I like. I like petite sirloin or rib eye pan seared, although it is really good grilled too…

Can I Just Use My Canned Parmesan Instead
The quality of Parmesan in this dish is extremely important. The cheese is a primary flavor and so you want to use ingredients that taste good as it will just make the dish better. If you use that pre-ground, cheese in a can stuff, it will not taste as good. You get out of it what you put into it! I love to buy wedges of Parmesan Reggiano cheese and useone of my favorite tools, a food processor, to shred the brick and then I keep it in my refrigerator in plastic bags so that I always have fresh, quality cheese shredded on hand. If you make healthier and higher-quality foods easier to access, you will use them more often.
This risotto is filled with the same add-ins as the pasta, with spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, and gorgonzola crumbles. You can easily sub the gorgonzola for blue cheese. Add as much or as little of each as you want! The restaurant version has balsamic vinegar on the steak, and the vinegar acid cuts the richness of everything . I also like to drizzle the risotto with a little balsamic glaze!

Wheres the tomato?
Well, Kelsie has an allergy to tomatoes, so we omit this ingredient. However, you can purchase the jar of sundried tomatoes, and place ¼ cup chopped sun dried tomatoes right at the end, before you plate up.
To make balsamic glaze:
Place your balsamic vinegar in a small pot and heat to boiling. Once it reaches boiling, reduce to a simmer for 15 minutes or so. Your looking for a slightly thickened texture.
Or you can buy your own now! It tastes just the same, and it wont stink up your kitchen. Just look for balsamic glaze with other condiments.
