Cheapest Steak And Eggs On The Las Vegas Strip
This is part two in our cheap steak and eggs in Las Vegas series. In this post, youll learn where to find the least expensive steak and eggs on the Strip.
Whether youve flown Frontier Airlines to Las Vegas, Spirit, another airline, or maybe flown via jet and havent rented a car, you can easily walk or get an Uber or Lyft to the Ellis Island for their steak and eggs special.
Dining At Ellis Island
There are four dining options at Ellis Island. All are very reasonably priced. Guests will find quick bites at Metro Pizza and Boardhouse, which is a sandwich shop. The two sit down options are the Microbrew Café and the BBQ restaurant.
The Microbrew Café is open 24 hours a day. Its secret menu contains a $9.99 steak dinner. Other menu items include 24 hour breakfast, sandwiches and dinner entrees.
The BBQ restaurant has just four items on its menu. Diners may choose between a half rack of ribs, full rack of ribs, half rack and half chicken, or a half chicken. All options come with coleslaw, baked beans and toast. No substitutions are allowed. Microbrew selections are also available in the barbecue restaurant.

Casino At Ellis Island
The casino floor at Ellis Island is one of the smallest in Las Vegas. It spreads about 100 video poker and slot machines. It offers impressive video poker considering its proximity to the Strip. The popular Not So Ugly Deuces is prevalent. Full Pay Jacks or Better and Bonus Poker are also available. All are spread in $.25, $.50 and $1 denominations. Unfortunately, all of these games are excluded from point multiplier days offered by the players club.
There are five six-deck blackjack tables at Ellis Island. The limits are $5-$300. Players may double on any two cards and after splitting. There is no surrender or resplit ace.
There are two other table games. One is $5-$300 double zero roulette. It is open 24 hours a day. Craps opens at 5pm daily with 3-4-5 times odds. The limits are $3-$500 between 5pm and 7pm. The minimum bet goes up to $5 after 7pm.
The Cafe Here Is The Best Steak And Eggs Special In Vegas
I only went to the Cafe for the $6.99 steak and eggs special and it was excellent. I would go back to gamble also…sometime in the future. I recently read somewhere that gambles have been winning jackpots there.

Great food, have been eating there for years. I recommend the fish andd chips or prime rib. My wife likes the chicken fried steak. Lots of food and great prices.

Do yourself a favor and plan to visit Ellis Island Casino next time you are in town.! This was my first visit but will now be a requirement for all future trips. The staff was so friendly. I saw more people actively sanitizing the machines than any other casino visited on this trip. I joined the players club when I first got there, and had a Thank you note text from a casino host the next day! Free craft beer if you are gambling, and only $2.50 – $3.00 if you buy! And it’s all GOOD! Will be writing a separate review about their restaurant Front Yard, but it was super good also. 4 of us ate and drank like kings at half the price of what was spent the night before on the strip. Oh, and $5 craps???? Yes!!! 🙂

I understand that Ellis Island has an off-menu steak and eggs special. Are there restrictions for the days of the week/time of day? I’ve tried searching many places for the answer but all I can find is the fact that the special exists. Thanks in advance!

Note that reviews seem to indicate that the steak provided can be , shall we say, inconsistent. IMHO, it’s a get-what-you-pay-for kind of thing.
I did the deed on a weekend in December
I expected much less and got much more
Signs were everywhere on the special and the waitress pointed it out as well
I like the steak and eggs at Ellis Island even more than the infamous steak dinner there . It’s steak, eggs, potatoes and toast. It’s a really good breakfast.

I’m not too concerned about the quality of the food since I won’t be eating it, haha, I’m actually asking on behalf of the person I’ll be traveling with. He’s done similar specials before so I think/hope he knows what to expect.
FYI, Just to clarify no $7.99 Steak and Egg special exists at Ellis Island. Steak and Eggs is available via the regular menu only at the regular price of $11.99. It is served with two eggs any style, Potatoes O’Brien , and choice of toast.
The $7.99 Ellis Island STEAK SPECIAL is not steak and eggs.

Everyone loves feeling like an insider right? Well, you can consider yourself one as this deal isnt even on the menu. Served daily until 11 am , the Steak and Eggs special costs $6.99 and is among our favorite inexpensive steaks in Las Vegas.
We recently stopped in to order it and snapped the photo, below.
Its important to note that this deal isnt for food snobs. The target market isnt exactly the Hells Kitchen crowd, rather, those that are looking for solid quality at a low price point.
The deal comes with a 7oz steak, breakfast potatoes, 2 eggs any style, and toast. At the price point, my expectations were low.
Although I expected the steak to be tough and flavorless, I found it to be chewable and pretty damn good. Again, this isnt the best steak youll eat in Vegas, but its almost certainly the best value.

The Steak and Eggs special is a very nice deal considering its a block away from the Las Vegas Strip.
What you get for $8.99 is 7oz. Steak with Two Eggs, Hashbrowns and Toast.
I found it to be juicy, chewable and with plenty of flavor. Again, its almost certainly the best value that Ive found near the Strip.
On weekdays, the deal runs from 11 pm 11 am. On Saturday and Sunday, the deal hours extend to 2 pm.

Ellis Island steak and eggs deal at the Village Pub and Cafe is the cheapest steak and eggs on the Las Vegas strip.
The Village Pub and Cafe is open 24 hours a day. But you wont find the steak and eggs deal on the regular menu.
Its on the secret menu which isnt posted anywhere. You have to ask. Its one of those, if you know, you know type of deals. Now you know.
You can get steak and eggs at Ellis Island for $6.99 every day of the week. On the weekends, its available from 11 pm to 11 am and from 11 pm to 2 pm on weekends.
The special includes a 7 ounce steak, two eggs cooked to order, breakfast potatoes, and 2 slices of toast.
For less than $7 you get a decent amount of food. I appreciated the generous portion but my potatoes were cold. Breakfast potatoes should never be cold.
Pro-tip: The best time to come to avoid the line is early morning on a weekday.
