What can I say about Ruth’s that hasn’t be said?Well how about I juat so do it. The steak is amazing, the Malbec from Mendoza was also superb and well priced.The creme caramel was also very nice just needed slight more crackle for my liking.

Friendly Service. Anniversary Sparklers. Great waitress. I ordered a Veal Chop because we were eating at the “Chop House”. I should have had something else. My wife ordered a Filet Mignon . She was brought a Bloody rare steak…..ugh.There are too many alternative Eateries in Aruba to try.Dear Dave Sthank you for your review and we are sorry that the steak did not come out as it should. I have shared your comments with the dining room staff in order to make sure they bring the correct dish to the correct table.

Daniels Steak & Chop Aruba
My girlfriend loves steak and does not like fish. She is the opposite of me. I love seafood, and to me, steak is the simplest thing in the world to cook. It has to be fresh and the mystery ends there. I rarely go out for something I can easily cook at home. But, she wants steak so we are off to a steak house this particular evening.
The outside is nice, but its really warm and there are misquotes, so we decide to dine inside. The waiter brings Johnnycakes with garlic-cheese dipping sauce. They are hot, they are good. Its too easy to enjoy these and not think about all the food that is coming. Johnnycakes are a fried bread made from cornmeal and date back hundreds of years from Jamaica all the way up to the Northeastern United States.
The appetizer was big enough for two. The artichoke was dummied-down, almost ingenious. I should have thoeught of it. Most cooking shows will tell you to tear off all the outer leaves and just carve out the heart of the artichoke. However, for me growing up, the best part was peeling off each leave and scraping off the soft part of the leaf to eat along with the delicious bread stuffing between each layer. Here what they did was leave the outer leaves in tack, but carved out the middle, tore out the spiny thorns that you can choke on, and they chopped it up, added cheese and fine ground breadcrumbs and re-inserted into the middle of a huge artichoke.

The food was OK. Nothing amazingly tasteful… empanadas had much better somewhere else, the churrasco portion was small however tasty, the ensalada mixta was very good, drinks OK… we were having a good time up until a guy with an electric guitar started playing way too loud. we could not talk anymore because we could not hear each other at all. Total dissapointment. We left. We could still hear the music many blocks away!!!!!

We went here for celebration dinner. I had the 8 oz. steak, but it also came as 12 or 16 oz. The steak was cook perfectly and well seasoned. It came with a choice of three sides. A roving guitar player stopped at different tables to ask for requests, but he didnât come to our table!

Earlier in the evening, as a celebration to my birthday, I went dining with the family at Daniels Steak & Chop/Giannis. Why is there a slash between the two restaurants, you ask? The two restaurants are located at the same building, which is across Radisson Hotel at Palm Beach. In fact, both restaurants share one kitchen.
We decided to go without making any reservations. Upon arrival there was a noticeable lack of parking space, which generally means two things: maybe we should have made reservations and the restaurant must be good!
My wife wanted to eat at Giannis, despite it being my birthday, I let her pick the restaurant. When we inquired for seating they told us that Giannis was full and within one hour they could accommodate us. Instead of waiting, they offered a suggestion. We could be seated at Daniels Steak & Chop. Apparently there was one table available, where we would be able to order from a Giannis menu. We accepted. Actually, I was pretty happy for this because I really wanted to eat beef and my wife wanted Italian.
The service was pretty good up until it started raining . The staff needed to scramble and move everybody inside. It was a bit of a chaos after that point. Consequently the service suffered notably due to the chaos. In those situations Im pretty understanding, therefore I dont hold anything against the staff. I thought they did a terrific job considering.

We liked Daniels. Great steakhouse and great service. The only concern is that originally we were given a very unbalanced table. The staff graciously moved us but didnât really do anything about the table. Thank you for joining us for dinner, LorraineD1025.
